At Innergy Wellness, we believe meaningful change begins with truly understanding you—not just a list of symptoms. Rather than treating concerns in isolation, we take a whole-person approach that considers how cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and medical factors intersect in your life. We take the time to listen to your story, understand your goals, and identify what may be standing in the way of feeling and functioning at your best.

Whether you’re navigating a period of transition, recovering from an injury or health challenge, or seeking your next level of personal or professional growth, our work is designed to support you in building strength, clarity, and resilience in the areas that matter most to you. Every assessment and intervention is thoughtfully tailored to uncover underlying patterns, highlight your strengths, and provide practical insight into how your mind and body work together in daily life.

Led by Dr. Tabitha Price, Psy.D., a clinical psychologist with specialized expertise in health psychology, neuroscience, nutrition, and sports performance coaching, Innergy Wellness offers care that is evidence-based, integrative, and deeply personalized. Our goal is not only to help you understand what’s happening, but to empower you with the tools, confidence, and direction needed to move forward with intention and lasting impact.

Testimonials

“Working with Innergy Wellness has been a transformative experience. Dr. Price's expertise and guidance has truly helped me improve my focus and confidence after sustaining a torn ACL.”

-Tyler

"Three days out from my first ultra marathon and I could feel myself spiraling into a pit of “what-ifs” - Tabitha was such a genuine breath of fresh air and helped me to better understand what was causing my anxiety and provided tools to re-frame my mind prior to the race. She encouraged me to create a stronger mantra and visualize success. I certainly went in with a much improved mindset. I was more relaxed and excited than nervous and anxious. Putting my new mantra on repeat any time my mind wandered to a “what-if” helped me to have a much more exceptional race experience. I’m getting much closer to believing in myself as a runner - thank you Dr. Tab!.”

Psychological and Neuropsychological Testing

Psychological and neuropsychological testing provides an evidence-based way to better understand how the brain and mind are functioning, particularly when symptoms feel complex, overlapping, or difficult to explain. Rather than focusing solely on what is “wrong,” these evaluations clarify how cognitive, emotional, and neurological processes interact in daily life, offering meaningful insight and direction for treatment and support.

These assessments go beyond brief screenings or questionnaires and involve a comprehensive evaluation of cognitive abilities, emotional functioning, and psychological patterns through clinical interviews and well-validated testing tools. Depending on the referral question, testing may assess attention, memory, processing speed, executive functioning, mood, anxiety, trauma-related symptoms, personality structure, and brain-behavior relationships. The result is a clear, integrated understanding of strengths, challenges, and functional impact.

Psychological and neuropsychological evaluations are tailored exclusively for adults experiencing concerns such as memory changes, brain fog, attentional difficulties, emotional dysregulation, or cognitive changes related to concussion, traumatic brain injury, stroke, cancer treatment, medical illness, or aging. They are also appropriate for individuals seeking diagnostic clarity or formal documentation to guide medical care, workplace accommodations, or treatment planning.

The assessment process is collaborative, trauma-informed, and individualized, integrating test findings with medical history, lifestyle factors, and emotional context. Each evaluation concludes with a comprehensive written report and practical, personalized recommendations. Dr. Price specializes in complex medical and neurological presentations, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, oncology-related cognitive changes, and other medical conditions affecting cognition, providing testing that supports accurate diagnosis and meaningful treatment guidance.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference in Psychiatrist and Psychologist?

Both psychiatrists and psychologists are trained to help people with mental health challenges, but there are important differences between the two:

  • Psychiatrists are medical doctors (MD or DO). They have completed medical school and specialize in mental health. Because they are physicians, psychiatrists can prescribe medications, manage complex psychiatric conditions, and often focus on the biological and medical aspects of mental health treatment.

  • Psychologists hold doctoral degrees in psychology (PhD, PsyD, or EdD) and are experts in human behavior, emotions, and mental processes. They are trained to diagnose and treat emotional and psychological disorders through psychotherapy ("talk therapy"), psychological testing, behavioral interventions, and evidence-based therapeutic techniques. In most states, psychologists do not prescribe medications (though some states allow it with additional training).

In short:

  • Psychiatrists = medical doctors who focus on medication management and biological treatments.

  • Psychologists = doctoral-level clinicians who focus on therapy, assessment, and behavior change.

Often, psychiatrists and psychologists work together to provide comprehensive care, combining medication and therapy to best support the patient's needs.

Will my insurance cover Psychotherapy?

Traditional insurance plans often cover psychotherapy services when they are provided in an office setting and meet specific billing and documentation requirements.

Innergy Wellness offers both in-office psychotherapy and concierge-style services. In-office psychotherapy services are covered under specific insurance plans; please see the RATES section at the top of this webpage for additional information. Concierge services, which are provided in the comfort of your home or another location of your choosing, are not covered by insurance, as they fall outside of the traditional office-based model and are offered as private pay services.
